Mosaik/Diamond City Apartments Where to Stay?

    Hi Guys
I'm planning to stay in Pattaya for a month or so in July/August and would like to rent an apartment. I've read some posts about Mosaik but I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at Diamond City Apartments http://www.diamondcitypattaya.com or perhaps you could suggest another well located apartment building?
    Thanks

Try the Royal park Apartments Jomtien, they are superb IMO with a rooftop swimming pool. Here is their website.

I've recommended Mozaic to friends a few times but I've gone right off them. If you get one at the back-although they are clean, they are small and can look out onto a small well usually with the odd dead rat.

Why not try the safe old Yensabi Condos and ask for Patrick-cheap, convenient and as good as a 4 star hotel with nice size rooms and everything you will need for long stay....plus a nice swimming pool.
I'm only a light drinker. When it's daylight I drink.

    Diamond City

I can highly recommend Diamond City.

The room I had was probably one of the lower rate rooms and it was spacious, clean, had a balcony (albeit looking out onto Champ Isaan - which I hear has now closed down), fridge, cable tv, and a nicely kept bathroom.

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they cleaned the room daily and changed the sheets twice per week.

There is a small cafe at the entrance to the apartments and a laundry to the left of the entrance which was very cheap and efficient. There is also a swimming pool which was very quiet.

The location and the cost are excellent, a minutes walk to the supermarket (less to other shops), a couple of minutes to Tuk Com, maybe five minutes walk to Sunee and maybe 12-15 mins walk to Boyztown, or a couple of minutes in a Baht Bus.

I have stayed at several places in Pattaya and Jomtien and made this my home on my last two visits and would continue to book there again.

NB Like anywhere that is an apartment rather than an Hotel, you are liable for electricity bills at the end of your stay, but this is cheap. Also, unlike hotels, you may get free water and toilet roll in your room on your first day, but after that you need to buy your own - I hope that won't break the bank!

Wherever you stay, have a great time. :bounce:

Agree with the previous poster, Diamond City Apartments is a nice place. Only disadvantage for me was that open-air Isaan music bar on the other side of third road. They were playing quite loud Isaan music every evening when I was there.

If you prefer Jomtien beach I would like to invite you to check out my website at: www.asian-escapes.com - we have many studio and one bedroom service apartments at View Talay 5, View Talay 2, Tha Bali, and Chateau Dale. All close to beaches, restaurants and entertainment.
