Rio Olympics 2016 – Farewell Guys! We Loved You!

Despite all the hoopla, the lack of readiness, the drug scandals, garbage-strewn seawater, leaking pipes, water in the diving pool suddenly turning green, the spin and so on, the Rio Olympics did actually happen – and by all accounts have so far been a great success. So much for the doomsayers! Thankfully what I love about each Olympics mostly takes place in the first few days, so I don’t have to stay glued to the television screen for weeks.
