I've visited (Wat Roong Koon.....or something close to that) several times, the latest visits in November of 2006 and April of 2007. Unfortunately, the northern air was very lousy in April (due to all the burnoffs and pollutiion) and the temple just wasn't it's normal spectacular sheen when I visited then. I highly recommend a visit by anybody in the area (it's a few kilometer just south of Chiangrai).
