    Sathorn Inn BKK

    Anyone stayed there recently?
I have seen where it is on the map and assume its close to all the gay bars etc., right?
Is it gay friendly and are they OK with visitors?

Not exactly "close" to the bars. It would be a bit of a schlep, actually. Perhaps a 20-minute walk.

There are two Sathorn Inns or two with very similar names. One you see on your left from the Taksin BTS, the last stop (for now until they extend the line) and easy walking to that station or river boats.

It's OK, nothing special. One problem is if you ask for a single room you get two twin beds. You have to go for the suit to get one big bed.

I doubt there would be any problems with joiners.

The other Sathorn something, maybe Inn, is also visable from the BTS, on the right, one or two stops from Sapan Taksin, that one looks like a dump.

    Ah.. thanks for that!
I usually stay at the Tarntawan Place, nothing special I know, but at least it is handy and has proper beds etc.
I think I will revert to there ...
    Thanks again.
