It's a search engine marker....so I can easily pull up anything specific to me, including my own posts.
I've been doing it for a very long time and so if, during that time a former administrator deleted me or something, I'd still be able group all of my posts.....and, if someone asks me something or makes a comment for me (Provided they spell it correctly) I'll be able to find it and respond.
