Sphinx Restaurant and show Phuket - reports?

I stayed in Phuket about 6 weeks ago. I enquired about the Sphinx and was told that it was not worth going as the owners in Bangkok don't take any interest in promoting it.

The perception in Bangkok is that the owners have let the Bangkok establishment run down because the Phuket branch is a drain on overall cash-flow
