What is the going rate for tips for offs at Bangkok's Dream Boys these days?

In late September, I made a two-day trip to Bangkok after a business trip to Hong Kong. I visited Dream Boys and saw a couple very hot and handsome guys. The guy I liked best asked for 5,000 baht for all night, but settled for 4,500.

He provided very good service, and I would have offed him the second night,even at 5,000, but he already had a booking with another customer.

Is this the standard pricing now for top quality?

I should note that Dream Boys was packed with customers, mainly Chinese, including a couple mid-aged women who were sitting with and seemed to be offing guys.

It's was 10 times that for all night in London 8 years ago. Don't know how much it is now.
A fee of 5000 baht is very cheap for a lot of customers.

No doubt, any one of us could pay 5000 baht. But why?


Lets not compare Thailand to London, or any Western capitol. I was in NYC for 2 weeks in August, paid 2000 USD for studio Airbnb. Should I pay the same, over 60.000 baht for a studio in Pattaya?

If you paid 8 times 5000 baht for hustler in London, you over paid grossly. Maybe you hired a porn star, or someone who's exceptional in another way, but if you really paid around 1000 pounds in London for a guy, you could have hired 5 guys for 5 consecutive nights instead. None of my business, of course, just saying

DreamBoys... The only gogo in Bangkok & Pattaya I have never step foot in.

They do a good trade, with the Chinese. The Chinese rarely off and just spend on drinks.. Explains the 480 baht drink prices.

From my friends who use the place, my knowledge is as follows. This is as of a few weeks ago.

Drinks: 480
Bar Fine: 700
ST: 2500 minimum (I was told the bar set this price across the board for all boys)
LT: 3500 from what friends told me they pay.

This info could be wrong, it's second hand, although I can't see why someone would tell me something incorrect.

My advice would be to walk past Dream Boy and go into X-Size instead. Put that's my preference!
As for paying 5000, I have never heard of anyone paying this much. I know some of the Tawan guys ask for 4000 - That's the highest I have ever heard. I guess if you are happy to pay it, then go ahead. You only live once!

silly boys...just because they ask doesnt mean they get...bit like the patpong night market...they can ask 450 for a pair of fake sunglasses doesnt mean im going to pay it....one of the greatest pleasures I have is negotiating MB services...
and often at midnight or 1am ..or at midday when they wake up u will find the same MB on grindr...no off fee...and fee is never more than 1500 for a 2 to 3 hour session.
I must take my hat off to the MB that is able to sell his services for 5k...well done.

I never paid more than 2500 baht on soi Twilight, usually less, 1500 - 2000 for short time, by short time I mean 30 min or so, get a room at BBB, get to it, and part ways. Everyone happy.

Sure, guys may ask for 5000, I never had a guy asking 50000, but they may try to spot a noob, willing to pay that. If I was working in gogo bar, spotting a drooling noob customer, someone sticking 500 bills in guys undies, I'd ask 10.000 and see what happens. Chanes are, I'll get one who is willing to pay that. But this is not the going rate.

Gogo boy always try to evaluate us, estimate what to aim for, always fishing for noob.

Noob will rationalize the asking price, and justifying it, afterall, in Amsterdam it would cost him even more. A drunk 2 week millionair may agree to pay 10.000, but it isnt a going rate. It's a dumb tourist, and lucky, skillful hustler.

The most I've hear my friends pay is 3000, and always in Tawan.

Tawan is exception, the usual market rates dont apply there. Tawan has the most expensive guys, and rightfully so, guys there have worked out for years and years, to justify charging top dollar. And farang into muscle guys has no other option. It's sellers market.

Since the topic is What's the going rate, it seems the going rate in Bangkok is still 1500-2000 ST, 2000 - 3000 LT.
