Santo Domingo and the Lido Cinema :: Who's Been There?

I have read a couple of short posts and updates on the Lido Cinema in Santo Domingo. I am on the way to that great city soon and would like to find out more about this place.

I am told that the cinema is of the Adult nature and there is often some good "Trade" in there.

What is the best and time to go? = What is the cost? - Is it Safe? - What types are in there? (Old Men, Fems?, Hotties? Straights? or What?)

Any more information on this would be great.

Also - Any other places to get lucky other than on El Conde with the regular Bugaroons and Hustlers?

I was there two years ago and spent a few hours there. I couldn't take the heat though as the A/C wasn't working which is a frequent occurrence. I didn't see any trade but there was so much available I didn't need to worry about it. I was there in June 2017. Well worth the trip. I will give the details.

Cost 150p to enter. Open at 6 or 630pm until 10.. You enter a lobby/refreshment stand with a big clock. Then there are doors to enter the seating area. To the right you go down a floor to the bathroom. Three stalls but no doors. Well lit.

When you go past the doors to enter the main movie area. There is an aisle along the back. Which you can see the movie screen because there is a five foot wall between aisle and the seat. Plus there are two good size fans in the area. Typical size of old school movie theater. But the first ten rows of seats have been removed. Takes a while for eyes to adjust even though a porn movie is playing.

About 6 years ago, I went to the Lido 4 days in a row, about 6:30-8:30pm. I now would return and if I recall correctly, I walked from my B&B in Conde area, in daylight (about 6pm), and then when finished would jog back to the B&B, since it is a dodgy area. I always wore gym clothes, a pair of shorts and a tank top, and brought only the entry free and maybe a bit more $, no phone, no wallet, nothing else. Then running back (it's mostly downhill actually) it was maybe 10 min back to the more lively Conde area.
In the Lido, it's 95% locals who want a throat or ass. It was wild and fun, no money boys at the time.
I need to get back there!
