Chiang Mai: Police controls on Loy Kro Road area

Police action continues in order to "sweep" transvestites and ladyboys especially from notorious Loy Kro Road area in Chiang Mai "in order to prevent crimes against tourists".

Happened to be over there last evening and didn't see a thing. Also didn't see a cop (other than the couple directing traffic near the west end of the Sunday market) in the area.
