Yes, it must have been a Japanese version of "War and Peace (which would no doubt have been retitled for porn as "War and Piece").
I work in the adult entertainment business and have, in the past few years, written scripts for three best-selling movies. Given the need to balance the exposition of the story against the "action" sequences, I find 119 pages inconceivable! My own fully-developed scripts for 90-minute movies run to about 30 pages each in English (they were subseqently translated into Spanish because the films are shot in South America).

Maybe I ought to try that. When I was in my late teens (many moons ago...), a few of us used to go to an adult drive-in movie theater (where I first saw the engulfing aerobics of Linda Lovelace...). The typical adult movies in those days all had the same dialogue (moan, moan, and moan) and, after the first couple of movies that we saw, we finally elected to leave the sound speaker off, the windows up, and we took turns providing extemporaneous dialogue. I believe we only had an approximately 10-word vocabulary whereas we had a large and very inventive array of moans, oohs, and ahs. Erotica altered to pure juvenile humor. Some of the funniest memories I have.
My talent, though, is more likely as the production assistant whose sole job is to yell "stunt cock!"
