    Third Army moving to Bangkok

According to Bangkok Post, the third army has moved its battalion to Bangkok for fear that Taksin might be coming back to Bangkok and also protest against Meechai. Taksin is in Spore..... waiting to come back?

I wonder what they're so worried about, considering that (according to them) such a whopping majority of the Thai people approved of their coup...

The Royal Thai Army is divided into 4 regional army commands:

First Army - headquartered in Bangkok and is responsible for the country's western and central provinces including the capital city.
    1st, 2nd, 9th and 11th infantry divisions, and 1st Development division.

Second Army - headquarters is in Nakhon Ratchasima and is responsible fo the northeastern quadrant and its regional .
3rd, 6th and 12th infantry divisions, and 2nd development division.

Third Army with its headquarters in Phitsanulok, responsible for the northern and northwestern parts of the kingdom.
4th infantry division, 1st armor division, and 3rd development division.

Fourth Army is based in southern Thailand with its headquarters in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
5th infantry division, and the 4th development division.

Altogether the army is organized into 7 infantry divisions (including 5 tank battalions), 1 armored division, 1 cavalry division (with an armour capability), 8 independent infantry battalions, 2 special forces divisions trained and geared for small unit special and airborne operations, 1 field artillery division, and 1 air defense artillery division. 3 airmobile companies provided the ground force units with battlefield support.
    Thank you, Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Thai_Army )

    Cheers ...

So many soldiers... so little time!
"The fruits of peace and tranquility... are the greatest goods... while those of its opposite, strife, are unbearable evils. Hence we ought to wish for peace, to seek it if we do not already have it, to conserve it once it is attained, and to repel with all our strength the strife which is opposed to it. To this end individual[s]... and in even greater degree groups and communities are obliged to help one another... from the bond or law of human society." [Marsilio dei Mainardini (c.1275-1342), Defensor Pacis]
