    Price is relative.
While it is true you can't expect much from a 200 baht set meal, in Pattaya, the key the value for money for a gourmet meal is to eat THAI FOOD! Lots of us really like Thai food, though of course, variety is always good.

Why do so many people want to save money on food in Pattaya? Could be gourmet food is not the biggest draw Pattaya has ...

LMTU, it is quite clear that farang food in Pattaya is not up to the standards of Farangland or even Bangkok.

I agree I have never really had a bad Thai meal in Pattaya, and always at a good price. The boys always prefer Thai food, as well. The same cannot be said for falang food. Sometimes okay and sometimes bad, but always more expensive than Thai food.
