No I don't read the Reader's Digest - except in Waiting Rooms. This article was on the BBC UK News.

I'm assuming that it is the American edition of the Reader's Digest that is being quoted... but even then it doesn't seem quite real.

I've never accused a New Yorker of being polite... and also I am shocked to see Hong Kong score the same as Bangkok -- I'll need to have a word with my fellow Hong Kongers about this new-found politeness. Nip it in the bud before it becomes a real concern!

... to see that Mumbai, India gets only 32", perhaps if they went metric they would get more votes!
