I thing LMTY is referring to Diamond Pub which was raided recently and frequented by Australian ex-traffic wardens (as seen on TV), this bar is now closed and will remain so for the next year. The raid was organised by a farang tourist police officer and executed by the tourist police.

I know it's bad form and all that to quote yourself, but in answer to my own question, apparently the Panorama Bar will be closed from Sunday 1st July up until the 11th July (approx) for refurbishment. I think it's actually a pretty decent bar as it is.

watching the local TV report on the raid and seeing the laughing little go-go lad's who we were told were "waiting for their parents to come and collect them"..( how annoying for them..having already delivered them to Pattaya in the first place) ..this raid is all about something else and not what it first appears to be.
