Elephant in heat tries to mount cars in Thailand video
A wild elephant is filmed climbing on top of cars in Thailand's Khao Yai national park on Saturday. The elephant, which had reportedly escaped from an enclosure in the park, sits on two vehicles and nudges up against others. Park officials say the elephant's aggressive behaviour is the result of mating season

The Guardian reports that it was: "Elephant in heat tries to mount several cars in Thailand" however only females go into "heat" and this one isn't female.
Maybe he was looking for a rim?

Actually the elephant's approach to finding a mate reminded me of an ungainly inebriated older and larger farang, displaying none of the social niceties, when approaching a boy in a gogo bar.
