Thread: Fast Track entry at the airport?

Fast Track entry at the airport?

Does anyone have any information on the "fast track" service at the Airport?
I did notice this entry and apparently there is no lining up at immigration on arrival and departure.

I had heard it was for first class passengers only, but a friend told me that a Company in Bangkok is arranging this service to everyone for a fee around the 5000b mark, certainly seems a bit steep, but maybe worth it for those who do not wish to line up at immigration.

It would be great to be picked up by the mini car at the plane arrival and whisked through immigration without lining up,especially after a long flight.
Do we have a link for this service or has anyone used it?

For some reason (This Is Thailand??) a Search on the thaiair.com takes you to an Australian page but it seems it's available for everyone who flies with TG provided it's two passengers travelling together - so if you're travelling from Australia with lonelywombat, you're eligible

I have used this excellent service.

The rep meets you at the airbridge and escorts you through all formalites leaving you at the exit where your limo is waiting.

If you travel Business or First on many airlines they give you a "fast track" invite with the immigration card.

I travel Business with Emirates and, yes, you are given the Fast Track ticket with your immigration papers but there is no pick up or assistance from the plane when disembarking.

Still, it makes a huge difference... may I suggest to those who don't fancy lining up and who are in possession of a certain brass neck that they perhaps mumble to the Fast Track officers that they lost the ticket (and even the boarding card for that matter) and offer an apologetic shrug?

    Nah perhaps not. :dontknow:

The service you are describing is available via Image limousine Co (as already mentioned) for 1800B per person, rather than 5000B.
But they state that the price includes delivering you to their "sedan" - the implication being they expect you to use them to get to your final destination.
They also quote a package to BKK or Pattaya - but it's unclear if the package price is per person which - if you are travelling with a companion - it oughtn't to be as you don't normally pay per person for a taxi.

Anybody know the answer to that?

So that would be 1800 baht plus the Limo fee to Pattaya? Would that be correct?

There aparently is several other Companies offering this service but I am waiting on links before I post them,I gather most would be transport services.

Do you actually go through the normal steps when going through fast track such as seeing a immigration officer personally on arrival?

It's nice to get the VIP treatment, but I can't justify it as I've never waited more than 5-10 mins in line at immigration (usually less than 5 mins) and it only takes me 2-3 mins to go upstairs and get an incoming cab driver who will be grateful he doesn't have to wait 1-2 hours to get a fare from the arrivals level.

    You're surely not serious?

Are you in a different queue?

Do you turn up at 4am on a Sunday or something?

Or do you not need a visa on arrival?

I have NEVER waited less than 30 mins and often more like 45 mins.

You'll have to solve this mystery

Re: Fast Track entry at the airport?

2 hours is my record for waiting in immigration...

Arrived in at same time as 2 Chinese planes and a Japanese flight

Japanese got in first, then us, then the chinese

Chinese barged their way to the front of the queue, Japanese were too polite to stop them, meanwhile us farang were stuck at the back!
4 hours later the yellow shirts closed the airport... Guess the Chinese knew something the rest of us didn't!
    Buffalo me die! Send Money!
