For all my looking for available boys, there is a den of rent boys across the hall from me. Of course, I can’t just pick from one of the boys, that would be wrong.

If all the boys across the hall are nice and professional, taking your custom when available and being discrete the rest of the time, all is well.
If one or more of them have a screw loose, or start faking jealousy and creating trouble every time a different boy come's down the corridor, it's going to get difficult. Or telling every new arrival what they can get away with, asking them all how much you tipped, compared with his tip and so on.

Everything will probably be OK, but if it isn't the problem is much too close !
