I too wonder bedbuggy, if you are gloating in anyway at the misfortune of Silomfarang in asking your question above. I recently posted in another thread, exactly how I feel about the likes of such members that question those, who for a number of different reasons, are unable to obtain a retirement visa.Originally Posted by bedbugy1

I am writing this as a service to other people on the board. From previous experience I expect to be called a liar, and/or told I am an undesirable visa runner who should get his act together. I accept this as my just punishment for trying to share the news.
My question once again is, why should he have to accept any punishment for trying to share this news, from those without any idea of his circumstances?

I would not worry to much about the Rules changing, they do this on a regular basis and if you just go to the border Cambodia 3 months running, for a tourist moths visa then fly to Laos, via Air Asia to UDON THANI, around 2500 baht then catch the bus outside the Airport to the border, 150 baht then over the bridge get the tuk tuk 280 baht to any hotel in Vientiane, for the 4th month, get a 90 day, Visa, at the Thai Consulate, then after 2 moths you can get a 30 day extension you will have no problem or get a non immigrant O or B from your own country, or marry a Thai Women or retirement visa your do fine.
