The Times They Are a-Changin

A few early signs I notice that makes me think better times are coming (slowly).

Two large blocks of shops near me, which have been closed for a year or two, have been refurbished and Mr Ef (Mr F?) has reopened a new massage place. (Lady massuese)

The guys selling fake wrist watches has returned to Jomtien Complex.

The flower sellers in Jomtien Complex have returned. My favourite Vietnamese flower seller tells me he is returning too next week.

The “blind” singer and his escort have returned to walk the Soi.

A “new” beer bar has opened in Sunee.

Closing time, in some areas, is being “stretched”.

Two new Arab cafes have opened on Soi Yensabai.

And finally....more Arabs are to be seen in the area...

Anyway, I’m only a tourist so what do I know!

I'm glad you're not getting ideas above your station! We know the only ones with the standing to comment are residents, not just any residents, but those who haven't been to a gay bar for 5 years.

I've also seen new restaurants opening in South Pattaya in 2022. If they don't run out of cash, they will be ready for when the junta relax restrictions on inbound travel.
