Many times over the last few years in Pattaya I have come across boys from Vietnam and Cambodia. Upon asked if they have an ID card they all say no and leave it at that. Only when one of the other members of staff have intervened did they tell me they do have a passport, just not an ID card. Be aware of this and don't let that dreamboy slip away due to a language point.
