Travel by bus as usual. I have arranged meeting with a friend G, so no need to hurry to the bars. Dinner at Le Bouchon Thai. One of the best Tom Kha Gai (р╕Хр╣Йр╕бр╕Вр╣Ир╕▓р╣� �р╕Бр╣И) I have had*, for only 80 Baht. Ample serving and fine meat. Strong contrast to the one I recently had in Bangkok (120 Baht, with tendons and bones and bone splinters, unacceptable). The quality at Le Bouchon Thai is consistent, I had Tom Kha Gai there before. And you can watch who is walking along the street. After dinner, chat with friends.

* I have to compare with Tom Kha Gai at тАЬThe MoonhouseтАЭ Soi Sri Bam Pen. As far as I remember, they cut the chicken into thin slices, so they soak up the aroma better than the pieces of chicken at тАЬLe Bouchon ThaiтАЭ. Maybe I should order Tom Kha Gai тАЬsliced, not cubedтАЭ? (No tendons, skin and bones goes without saying.)

I walk past Nice Boys and hear the staff talking to prospective customers (they looked Arab or Indian) тАЬYou buy ticket 200 Baht, including one drinkтАЭ. That deserves clarification, so I ask and get offered the same deal. They seem to have double pricing, when I went the following day, no discussion, no ticket, drink price 130 (?) Baht. On another occasion (a year ago, in another bar), I saw that Russians have to pay for their drinks immediately after serving.

I wonder if I can fit in three boys in one weekend (by moving G to Saturday morning). I go to X-Boys Pattaya and catch the end of the show. However, the boy I had in mind has been offed already and there is nobody else for me. I off G and we go back to my room. Both of us are tired, so we sleep around midnight.

A lazy day at the beach. Not many boys. Low tide, there is a man with a metal detector. I ask him what he is looking for. He shows me dayтАЩs findings: coins worth an estimated 100 Baht. They are stained from the sea water. No watches, gold rings or gold chains.

On my way back, a boy N I had before waves his arm to me. He gives me his new phone number. Brownie points for him, I appreciate if boys acknowledge me (without being pushy) out of their working hours.

In the evening, a stroll to Tuk-com and oil massage (just massage). Then dinner and on to Sunee Plaza.

A lot has been written about Krazy Dragon, it seemed the owner changed his business model more frequently than I change my underwear. After over two years of absence, time to have a look. I arrive about 8:40 pm. Nobody outside, door is closed. That does not deter me from entering. There are a few boys and staff inside, it takes them a few seconds to realize that they have a customer. I order fruit juice (140 Baht, I forgot which fruit). Music level is ok, the music they play is ok and the videos are ok. Aircon is ok, underwear is ok (first all briefs, then some boys in shorts). The boys are in good shape, only few tattoos. I count a maximum of 9 boys. Those who approach me speak good English and are not pushy. Altogether, a promising outlook. I leave about 9:10.

I go to Nice boys. I ask the mamasan, all boys are over 18. They wear white shorts. Some watch porn on their mobiles and play with their dicks. (Non-sequitur alert.) When I was 15, I didnтАЩt need porn to get an erection, I didnтАЩt even know what porn is! None of the boys is my type.

Outside, I come across O and want to take him, bus he has a customer already and is just waiting for him to come back. So I go to NтАЩs bar to off him. Great body, cute face, good manners and can hold a conversation (in Thai, there are boys who are uncommunicative even if I talk with them in Thai). Last time, he was a dud in bed, but that was months ago, so I give him a second chance. A significant improvement, worth taking again! (But there are O, B1 and B2 as well worth taking again!) And good manners. While cuddling after sex, he asks if I can help him with his rent, 1500 Baht. I reply that I will pay him 1000 Baht. There are boys who would reply тАЬOk, I go, you pay me now.тАЭ, but he accepts this and does not bring up the subject again, and stays for cuddling. (Some people might argue that I should have given him 1500, but if I start this, every boy in Pattaya will ask me for 1500 for his rent next time.)

Back to Sunee again for a stroll and a chat with a friend.

Get up late, check out and directly to the bus station. Stay home in Bangkok for reading and cleaning my room.

General remarks:

I noticed that bars have urinals and wash basins that are very low, I have to take care not to pee over the urinal and have to bend down to wash my hands in some places.

Cocktail boys still closed, Super Star Show bar closed (according to a friend who worked there, the owner is on holiday in Europe, but they advertise in the September issue of Out in Thailand).
