Phuket

I'll be visiting Phuket for a week this coming Saturday. Can anyone give advice on what are currently the best bars, clubs, saunas, beaches etc? If Pattaya/Bangkok is anything to go by it varies weekly...

Friends now in Phuket who are now leaving for Koh Samui tomorrow, have indicated
in emails

The beach just behind the Patong Beach Bungalows, where the gayvolleyball is played from around 5, is a good starting point.

Connect coffee shop in Paradise good place to watch who is going where.

Spartucas opposite Connect and Aquarius down the lane beside Connect are the 2 of the saunas.

The restaurant that is part of the Aquarius is good value

There are 3 cabaret shows in the one street.

My Way stands out but all are worth a try.

The Boat is a late night disco that gets crowded after midnight

There is a weekly gay boat trip from Connect on a saturday or sunday

Apparently the rebuilt restaurants are really great along the beach.

They used the coffee shops of Holiday Inn and Merlin a lot during the day.
