In another post Liam had said:

Lastly, massage I've had 4 so far. First off River House has the nicest facilities and the manager with the biggest attitude. My Thai friend said ever since she got her hair extensions she's been thinking she's all that. I won't go back, she obviously doesn't care about customer service and neither the massage or after massage sex was anything I couldn't have done myself by rolling around on some marbles I threw on the floor and then jerking off to porn.

I'm sorry he had a bad experience there, but to balance that I was there a number of times last month and didn't run into this mamasan. Each time I was there the young man in charge was helpful and pleasant. The facilities (the massage room itself, anyway) was very nice, and for a change they didn't have the room so cold you could store dairy products in it.

The room I was in the first and second time had two beds in it, so I suppose a couple could request it if they wanted to. The shower was clean and mold/mildew free, but just outside the massage room itself. When I was left to shower (I didn't ask for assistance, although I think it was probably available) the door was locked so I didn't worry about valuables.

I wasn't there at "peak" hours so many of the guys in the album of photos shown weren't on duty but they certainly had a full selection of nice looking men, and the mamasan I dealt with knew the abilities of each one I asked about (although I was primarily interested in their massage abilities, to be honest). As you'd expect, business has been crappy lately and most of the guys were lounging around in the garden, watching TV. It's a ways out of the way but worth the effort, I'd say.

This guy was worth a second (OK, and a third) visit. He spoke less English than I do Thai, but we had a few laughs trying to share conversation, anyway. I've obscured his face since he's straight and not really interested in doing more than massage, he said - but that he did very well. I'm guessing you'd be able to pick his photo out in the album - he may be using the print of this shot I brought back to him on another visit, for all I know. He comes in to work a couple of hours early to do his daily work outs, and - a plus with me - NO tattoos.

By the way, River House and Classic are both owned by the same person/people, whichever it is. River House is the newer of the two locations. I didn't get to Classic, although Liam said in his same report that he had a good experience there.

Thanks for the review and the photo Bao Bao.

Haha... the boy looks really fit! Did you ask him to flex his muscles for the photo?

You're welcome, Beachlover. Sorry it's taken a few days to reply to your question, but yes - he said he comes in early most days to work out before the place opens and did "strike a pose" for the first couple images I took.

Most of the guys pictured in their album (and lounging around in the garden waiting for customers) were of a similar build, but there was something about this young man's face I liked. I'm sorry now I didn't remember to ask if he would be OK to post "face" pictures of him because outside of the workplace itself I got some very cute pictures of him smiling. I guess I could email and ask - and if he gives the OK, I will.

Without seeming stuck up he was pleased with the results of his exercise, and I just hope he doesn't take that to the level so many do where they can't seem to pass any reflective surface without stopping to pose for themselves (i.e. in so many of the clubs) - although frankly it'd probably be a minority (here, anyway) who wouldn't want to look at a lean Thai man over a -- ahem -- corpulent farang.
