Le Cafe Royale old uniforms gone and new ones not popular

Friend who has been in Pattaya for several weeks is upset at the new uniforms for wait staff at CR

Not that he disliked the old uniform ,he thought that many of the staff had grown too old to look pretty in them

Now they have the same old staff in dowdy new uniforms.

Please he asks, get a petition going for the old uniforms and much much much younger waiters to wear them

    out with the old?

Having seen the new uniforms they are smart but yes, they are not at all titillating.

They do add a more professional presentation and detract from the perhaps misconceived public impression that all the old queens in Boystown want to do is perv over boys in shorts.

What does your friend suggest happen to the old staff who have been there and provided good service for years, who would be replaced by fresh meat for all to "enjoy"?

    Better info might help ...

A photo of the new uniforms? Wombat? Anyone?

Agree with Thanatorn, this is pretty cold: " ... Now they have the same old staff in dowdy new uniforms. Please he asks, get a petition going for the old uniforms and much much much younger waiters to wear them ... "

    Cheers ...
Just another reason why I love living in Thailand

Do not have any pics, but I deleted his reference to the look alike to the local fire brigade marching band.
Dark red shirt and white long daks.

Is this a tourist area and can we not expect something to attract our interest? I did not notice a rack for walking frames last visit.

If this is the most serious issue currently on your friend's mind, I truly envy him.
Yes it must be a tremendous let down to be slumming in Korat. My sympathies ,you should be looking after the old men
who have past their use by date in Pattaya

I think the new dress is quite smart and a big improvement on the previous one.Where do old waiters and bar boys go?perhaps they retire to Europe on their pensions

That is something my instinct is telling me, is highly unlikely to have ever entered his head and even if it had, it's something I sincerely doubt that he would have given a toss about.

Moving on, being someone that visits girlie bars more often than I do Boyztown, as I much prefer Sunee as a much more fun place to drink and socialise, even though I am looked upon as being one of Pattaya's reprobates and low lives for doing so by some of the holier than thou crowd here, I can say in all honesty that the CR's new uniforms, are of absolutely no interest to me whatsoever.

However, for those that would like to see them wearing less clothes than they are in their new kit, there is always one sure way that they can get to do so, the lecherous keeneow old pervs that they are, always bloody wanting to get an eye full for free. Get your bloody hands into your pockets other than to play with your balls and cough up their "off" fee.

The uniforms look great. As far as fresh "meat" the newer staff they have been bringing in lately
seems to be bargain subbasement in the looks department

Replace the OLD with the YOUNG. Now there is a new idea. I always thought when you went to a restaurant you went for good food and good servcie. What the hell does age have to do with anything. What are we suppose to do with the old just ingnore them or better yet send them off to never never land. Remember the old are the ones that have laid the ground work for the young and if nothing else should be respected. If you need to see the young go to one of the many Go-Go bars.
