Perhaps read the threads before posting. See Last Night in Bangkok, a clever title for a sad story.

Come on Brad, be fair. The 'Last Night in Bangkok' title didn't mention Carradine and seems to me it would be quite common for someone NOT to have read it first simply because the title (or the author!! :blackeye: ) itself didn't interest him.
I would think the general expectation would reasonably be that ~ at he very least ~ the deceased man's name would be in the subject line of any topic about him, especially in this case.
Just another reason why I love living in Thailand

Discussion on another board opines that the details so far disclosed point to accidental death during auto-errotic-asphyxiation; whatever that is. I believe it is alluded to in a movie called "Red Sun".

For a man of 72, the third floor would probably have sufficed for falling death syndrome. However, he mave been one of those artists who did his own stunts.

    Carradine death 'erotic asphyxiation'

American actor David Carradine might have died from auto-erotic asphyxiation, Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) director Porntip Rojanasunan said on Friday morning.

The 72-year-old actor's body was found inside a closet in his suite in Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel about 11am on Thursday.

One end of a shoelace was tied around his penis and the other end fastened around his neck, while his hands were bound with a cord which was also tied around his neck.

He could have been be trying auto-erotic asphyxiation and may have suffocated during the act, Kunying Porntip said.

She said other evidence supporting this theory included a penis shrine inside his room.

She did not believe anyone else was involved, but admitted she could not be 100 per cent sure.

Carradine arrived in Bangkok a few days ago to star in a new movie, Strand.

The first time I heard of "auto-erotic asphyxiation" was when the INXS lead singer died while doing it. Later there was a C.S.I. episode based on it. A new twist in this case seems to be that his hands were bound with a cord? How does that work, exactly?

They wasted no time getting the good Khunying Porntip on this case.

Absolute classic deduction, I mean why else would one have a 'penis shrine' in ones room?...........

Having mastered snatching the pebble from the masters hand, he went on to the more difficult maneuver of grabbing the pebble while hanging from a curtain road with his hands and penis tied together.

Thai TV is really playing this up with line drawings and comments like it's very strange to us but he is an American!

    What a way to go.
