When I next visit the LOS in a few months time, because of commitments my BF won't be able to meet me in Bangkok as he usually does before we go off on our travels. So, I am to have 3 days without feeling restricted by his presence - if you know what I mean ;o)

Thought I might try a little extra curriculum activity and hook up with a Thai guy from one of the gay websites. OK, i know of Thailandout and Gaydar, but is there any other I should be looking at? Also I am aware of the 'dangers' of this sort of meeting.

This is a good question....Many of these dating sights such as Gay Thailand, Out Personals, Asia Friend Finder, Thai Single on Line allow you to join for free, but then when you get a "hit" (the web sight calls it a wink or message) you need to subscribe to get access to the member, unless he is a paid member and "invites" you to his sight. So, you can get a message a guy with a hot picture of him, but it may be difficult to make contact. These sights prohibits you from giving your email to the other member you may be communicating with (supposedly due to security reasons, they just want you to keep using their web sight). Of the ones mentioned above, OutPersonals.com doesn't censor too many of the photographs from the members- the other ones do. When you do join these sights, make sure you click on the nonrenewable button, so they don't automatically renew your subscription on your credit card when your membership expires. :bounce:

One sight that many gays don't know about is squirt.org--- it is for cruising information and you can find out who is in the area you are visiting. Unfortunately, there are not too many members in Thailand that belong to it. It has a decent "free" membership.

Gay romeo and Gay Thailand are mostly prostitutes hoping for a date outside of their work place. I guess you might strike lucky and find one who is genuinely looking for a relationship. On gay romeo, especially, you will see that few are on the internet during their working hours.
