Mercury drops to 10 on Mae Hong Son mountain tops

Mae Hong Song - The temperature on mountain tops in this northern province dropped to between 10 to 12 Celsius degree Saturday morning.

Thada Sattha, chief of Mae Hong Song forecast office, said the lowest temperature on the low-land in the province ranged from 16.1 to 20 degrees Saturday morning.

Tourists to Ban Ruam Thai village in Muang district said they experience 12-degree temperature in the morning.

I am still searching for several pictures have taken about two years ago, while frost was covering all over Doi Suthep. Around Doi Suthep, and Chiang Rai or Mae Hon Song mountains freezing temperatures are not uncommon.
