Making pedestrian malls

Whilst walking down WALKING STREET recently i was surprised to see cars/motorbikes driving thru?
I thought this was walking only?

Anyway i really think some sois/streets in Sunee Plaza should be pedestrian access only !
Its a bloody nuisance to have to be cautious of Young Arabs going berserk on high powered motorbikes,they are used to driving camels and you put these on motorbikes they end up going berserk driving flat out and nearly hit you.

Why not make the Sois pedestrian only?
There are some downfalls for this and i know some areas in Sydney Australia have reversed their decision and changed pedestrian only areas back to driving because increases in anti social behaviour,in other words,vandalism,muggings etc.

With the explosion in entertainment venues, it would neither be suitable nor practical for service vehicles to get through. Also, walking Street is walking street at set times only, which is restricted to evening peak times usually.
