Sunday night July 29th in the Jomtien Complex....

Quiet evening in the gay businesses in Jomtien Complex
Sunday night July 29th ...during the Buddhist holy days of July 29 & 30.

Most bars and clubs were closed....
    some restaurants open as usual...

BONDI Hotel - OPEN - was serving hot and cold beverages on their terrace...
their usual sandwich and snacks menu was available for order...
about 30 customers relaxing with friends and NO musicians singing.

MONTY'S - OPEN - had about 15 customers on its terrace and inside seating area,
enjoying complimentary sandwiches with their hot and cold beverages.

ROCK HARD Boys Bar was CLOSED...
the owner decided to close for the 2 nights, but there were several if his
boys sitting in front chatting with whomever might pass by...

TWO FACES BAR CLOSED...all lights out and no one to be seen.

A few of the lady bars were open and few customers seated...
sipping on their coffee or teas :-)

I sat at both BONDI and MONTY's and actually enjoyed the "quietness" and relaxing
pace of the evening...without all the usual loud music, singing and action normally found after 9:00pm nightly.

Maybe SAME-SAME tonight - Monday night July 30th in the Jomtien Complex...

The traffic these two holidays to Jomtien and back to Pattaya is jammed both ways....
if taking baht bus....be patient and expect a delay in getting to wherever you are going.

TJ.. don't keep us waiting too long for the 30 July holiday update.

The suspense is killing me. I am sure Buaseng will not sleep until he reads the report... :cat:
