Nok are offering 33,000 seats at three baht each for all domestic services as part of its third anniversary celebrations.

Tickets are available from today, July 3rd, to July 13 and are being allocated on a computerised random basis on their website http://www.nokair.com - but good luck if try to log on. It seems they are experiencing heavy traffic today!

The tickets must be used for travel from July 6 to Sept 30.

The price does not include airport tax, fuel surcharge and other fees ......

I was able to get the 3 baht promotion tickets by phoning their call center. While the web site was experiencing a lot of delays due to heavy traffic, I didn't have to wait too long on the telephone to speak to an English agent. I don't think the promotion is being allocated on a random basis. It seemed pretty much first come - first served to me.

This flight is cheaper than taking the bus.

Their computer system is not sophisticated enough to grant random customer the 3 baht fare, hence, first come first serve. :bounce:

thanks for your info, I tried to book a return flight online from Bkk to Phuket, left my credit card details, then waited about 5 minutes for the payment to get recorded and then an error message appeared, I hope they haven't taken my payment without granting me the flight... what to do? I tried to call the phone center, from France I phoned the 00 66 2 13 18 but it seems busy... any advice please? thanks

There's a special procedure for using overseas credit cards at the call center so you should have a photocopy of the front of your credit card as well as your passport details page which you will need to fax to them (while you are on the phone doing the booking) so that they can do the credit card charge.

you only need to do this the first time you do a credit card booking with them at the call center. for subsequent tickets, you will have already been approved.
