"The Thai Rak Thai's crimes are very dangerous to democracy," Judge Krairerk Kasemsant said.

    But military coups are ok!

It was reassuring to know that the soldiers involved in security had no bullets - no Government is going to risk another massacre.

Having worried about being in Bangkok on Wednesday there was no demonstration. Was that due to the clampdown or because the King had spoken?

Hopefully our beloved Thailand can now progress to a regime more beneficial than that of Mr Taksin or the current Junta.

    No violence.
I am a bit surprised, happily surprised.
My theory as to why: the King wouldn't approve of a TRT coup and most TRT supporters now understand Thaksin was totally corrupt, and it is really hard to get a real idealistic people power kind of movement to support a corrupt bastard.
