Bombs going off in Bangkok ... Canadians running amok ... Joe cancels his flights ...

(For the bomb thing: See below on another self-same thread by a very intense JellyFish. Caught me unawares while penning this.)

Canadian asshole in Pattaya yields machetes and jet skis to scare the living life out of REAL tourists. (Think about it ... Cdnmatt just arrived here again, he's Canadian, he's plenty ting tong, does he own machetes? Just thinking.)

What's next? Imported Saudi killer camels rampaging through Sunnee Plaza?

    But more:

Brit swan dives head first from high above in Central Festival. Can you imagine? "Mall Trauma" leaping over dementia as the best way of offing ones self in Thailand.
Not sure who took this gruesome photo, but for sure YouTube will be all over this one.

Just another reason why I love living in Thailand

Just to reassure our brethren - I have not cancelled my flights. Arriving on 18 September as planned. Thank you for your concern

One needs to keep up to the latest episode Dab69 as it seems that Barry was in fact nothing more than a drug riddled BARMAN not a fireman after all ! If you're out of an evening when the episodes are on you could set your video recorder or something perhaps to make sure you dont miss out on such critical detail in future maybe...... :-)

In reality, NIrish, (and I take no pleasure in recounting the tale) Barry was in fact a fireman, but he became addicted to drugs, and sadly went downhill quite quickly. He will not be accompanying me to Pattaya. Last I heard, he was going to a drug rehab clinic that Matt knows in northern British Columbia.
