Recommendation for accomodation

I am planning to short visit Pattaya for about 2 weeks. Any recommendations regarding accommodation would be appreciated. Thank You !

Budget per night? Beach? Gay area?

I'm told you can't go past the Grande Centre Point

Budget US $100. Prefer the Gay area although the beach is not bad provided the place I stay in is comfortable.

try the poseidon at jomtiem, gay area and near the beach ( for whats its worth now adays )
