Hey guys! Just came back from another trip to Bangkok and thought this time to give some updates from my pov. This trip is quite a relaxed trip. Didn't sight-see much and just laze in the hotel room except for a day I went to the Snake Farm Museum and Talaad Rod Fai which I think you will not be interested to hear that experience.
It is a short 4 days trip. I will definitely come back in March or April. SIA is having a sale here in my country. Round-trip around SG$300 for April. Not bad considering the typical rates for budget airlines hover around SG$200.
The tourist crowd in Bangkok is relatively low. I suppose it is January and most have started their work. Weather is good with occasional rain and cool breeze. Well here goes. Forgive me as I may not remember pricing and boy numbers correctly. Reviews are based on the sequence of the places I visited.
Hotel:
This time round, I stayed at Glitz Hotel which is super close to Tawan. I used to adore the hotel and it's location. However, I think I am getting older, the walk to the bars and train station is beginning to feel a little bit too far for me. I used to walk up and down the soi a few years back and not be tired. LOL I paid for a standard room for 3 nights at around $200. With breakfast. Very simple breakfast but there is a nice lady who cooks delicious pad thai. I think I could have booked a standard room without any breakfast but still eat there. Nobody seems to check or know which rooms you are in anyway. However, for this trip, I spent two days eating breakfast outside. Only had my BF once on my last day.
I have never stayed in Glitz Hotel and brought a guy back. This trip was my first and I can safely say they do not check who comes in and out at all. Is it a good thing? Perhaps if you want to remain discreet and enter the hotel first. But I suppose if things go missing, you cannot be sure that the hotel can help you. Just a thought.
Prime Massage:
I love this place! A good place for proper massage. I have read reviews that you can choose a masseur. However, I was too shy to do it as there were other people within earshot. Took the legs and body massage for 480baht (I think). Apparently one of their buildings is under construction and they have leased a new one next to it. My masseur seems to be in his early twenties. Looks straight to me. After the legs massage, we proceeded to the room.
I think I am thinking too much but I sensed that he wanted more? He seemed to be massaging very close to my groin area. And on many occasion, a slight graze on my dick. My dick is not stirred at all as he is not my type. But at least 45 minutes was spend on my lower body. Hmmmm. Having said that however, he has strong arms and his massage was excellent. I tipped him 500baht. Too much I guess. So I recommend Prime Massage if you ever need a proper good masssage.
Tawan:
Night came. And after dinner, had a quick wash-up and went down to Tawan Bar. I arrived at 9.30pm on a Wednesday. There was only a few customers. The boys I must say are in shape. Not ripped. But enough to tell either they are entering competition soon or it just ended. The stable of guys remained the same. There are a few younger ones but I would say with a more lean fit figure and not the bodybuilders type like their "seniors". To be honest, as much as I love muscles, none took my fancy. I had the intention if I don't have anyone knew I fancy, I would like someone I offed before. But sadly, he wasn't around.
Even though its a Wednesday, I paid 350baht for drinks. I read somewhere that its 300baht for weekdays? Hmmm...I left at 10pm. And decided to go elsewhere.
Dreamboys:
I once fell in love with a barboy from Dreamboys. LOL And now I am back again. Soi Twillight seems to be lacking customers. It is so quiet. Then again it is a Wednesday and low season. You know, with my features and tanned skin from too much outdoor sports, I may pass off as Thai or even a working boy. LOL No touts or boys tried to stop me and haggle me into their businesses. Is that good? HAhaha As I walked closer to DB, finally someone rushed and ushered me in. Drinks was 380 baht which I paid at the end when I left.
The crowd at DB I would say is around 70-80% full. Not bad. But nobody seems to be offing the boys. Except a group whom one of them offed a boy that I like. Number 19 I think. LOL Too late. The shows are okay. It is quite repetitive. The only ones that I like were the dance routine from their professional dancers. Oh! After reading some reviews, I decided to venture off to find Sauna Mania. Initially, I wanted to try Men's Factory as it is nearby and easy to find, but read reviews about how dirty the place is. So after reading the map, I reckon I could find SM with ease. And I did. I arrived at around 3.30pm on a Thursday. This was my first visit to a Sauna in Bangkok. LOL I paid 200baht for it.
Cleanliness wise, I would say around 6/10. I walked around with slippers. LOL
The first level is a carpark. Climbed to the second level and that is where you will pay for your entry and collect the padlock and keys. At the same level are the gym, lockers and a bar top. Perhaps for little bite? Not too sure. Didn't asked. The towels are placed in the lockers. Thursday night was nude night and it starts at 7pm. I was definitely early.
Third floor is where the rooms and maze are. Plenty of rooms and places to navigate around the maze. I arrived too early and watched porn there. Apparently, when the nude night starts, you will be asked to go up or down and leave the floor. Some entrances are blocked so you can only go the level via one staircase.
Fourth floor, you will find the showers, steam room and sauna. There is an open veranda as well overlooking the streets. Good place to relax and chill and look at the night sky.
Fifth floor, I did not go to much. Perhaps it is too high. Just an outdoor lounge area for people to relax. There are mattresses, benches, swings and potted plants around.
The crowd is relatively young. Many were in their 20s and 30s. And like many reviews, SM attracts a lot more local than foreigners. Including myself, there was only around 6 I counted. These are the ones that looked foreign like the one Indian and the few White guys. There might be some from around the region.
I must say, I am very curious on what kind of guys do Thais sought after. I saw a hunk, who looks early twenties (but I found out is 30) did it with someone who is average looking and less fit than him. He looks so much better than me and at least he allowed me to fondle his chest and blow him. LOL But sadly, the ones I am interested were taken fast, and the ones I am not were chasing after me.
I left at 8pm. I know it is early. But I was too hungry and tired from the walking and standing around. LOL I would say by then, the crowd is less than a 100 but more than 60. But people were streaming in. I guess during the weekends that place will be HOT HOT HOT! In the end, I would rate that place 8/10 and would definitely go again.
