Huge Bangkok convention early may.check your bookings

I received an email saying the International convention for Rotary is to be held in Bangkok from

Sunday 6th to Wednesday 9 th of May, (3 nights 4 days)

For those of you planning to stay in Bangkok make sure your rooms are booked and paid for, before during and after. Even for Pattaya before the start and after the finish make sure your rooms are confirmed and paid for.

The email stated they were expecting 300,000. For any city I hope the figure is just an mistake. I don't think Bangkok could handle that number

Expected attendance figures 38,000 people for conference.

Thats a lot of hotel rooms needed for the duration.

Already 28,000 pre-registered for the 2012 conference.
