HOLIDAY ON AUGUST 12 AND 13 тАУ August 12 is Her Majesty the QueenтАЩs birthday, which is also observed as MotherтАЩs Day in Thailand as Her Majesty is considered to be the the Mother of the Nation. The government has also declared that Friday August 13 will also be a holiday, making it a long weekend break. Therefore, expect government offices and banks to be closed for those two days. There will be many celebrations in Pattaya and all over Thailand.
