If You are talking about Y2K and not some new KY2 place..

I have been to Pattaya twice, most recently less than 2 weeks ago. I have always loved this little place. Towards the end of my most recent visit they were boyless every night that I walked by and looked in. But earlier in the trip I met a really nice guy from Sukothai, we went to T & T Karoake after we left Y2K (lots of the Y2K people seemed to also work after hours at T&T). My first trip I met a boy from Chang Mai there and we spent a week together and are still in touch. The atmosphere always seemed very laid back, no pressure from staff to "pick a boy". I am glad to hear they have more boys and that business might be better for them. I would like them to be there for my next trip.

I really hope you are correct...

My experience with Y2K Boys Bar a few weeks ago is the same as walking past Butt boys bar.

The door men (boys?) are aggressive and when you politely say no thanks, they cuss you out in Thai so that the other boys will hear. Some are actually scarey looking. I think they are so angry with themselfs they wouldn't think twice about robbing you if they had the chance.

Sorry, I just don't like aggressive boys who have that YABA attitude.

Not my cup of tea. I avoid these places like the plague.

I will try Y2K again based on your suggestion. Thanks for the Tip

    WOW

I was in town for 10 days. I stayed around the corner from this bar and walked past it every night and never experienced anything remotely unpleasant. I poked my head into Buttboys and left after nothing caught my attention and if I was cussed in thai (how would I know), I was oblivious to it. The only place in Thailand I found obnoxious was that cluster of Go-Go bars in Bangkok where the boys outside really do put there hands all over you. I totally skipped that area last visit and went on a walking tour with a printed copy of Fatman41's recent bar tour and had a blast. (I even enjoyed the "rotting carcass"!)

    Y2K Really ????????

Maybe the low season has made them more aggressive at Y2K or they have changed doormen. When I was there in Dec / Jan the doormen was pleasant to the eye and attitude. I never noticed any pushyness from them..

Sometimes I would go in, others times not.. You should have seen the expressions on their faces when I told them once "boys, I dont want boys. I want girls". It was almost priceless..

    Door Men

Totally agree with Abuelo, the door men/boys in Pattaya are the essence of decorum and politeness compaired to those in Bangkok. Also, I have been past Y2K a number of times and each time the doormen have been polite and jokey, even when I have not gone in. One time I tried to go in the doormen stated that they had 'no boys' and the second time he stated that he had many boys, which turned out to be four, with 'many more boys at the back' ... I don't know where the back was or what was going on there but so few guys and no other felang nearly always puts me off, I will give Y2K another go though.

As for the 'rotting carcass' Abuelo, I think I may even give this another go next time in Bangkok. Were you there alone? It wasn't the most overpopulated with Felang's place I ever been to. I'd be interested to hear more of what you thought and what made it so good.

    Rotting Carcass

Hi Fatman. And first let me say thanks for that review you did of so many of the Silom area bars. I was in Bangkok in late March for 2 days at the start of my second trip ever to Thailand so please keep in mind that all my experiences were those of a "newby" who was (and is still) very easily impressed.

I went to the "RC" both nights. The first night I was out with a felang friend and we really were going to a lot of the bars on your list and checking them out. I think because of location we might have stopped at My Way first but left after a drink because there were so many other places to check out. There were 6 - 10 reasonably attractive (doable?)boys there and we each had one on each side in their underwear playing with themselves (I hope that never gets old)

The second night after a long day with my friend and a nap I was left on my own. I can't remember where else I went that night but I ended up at My Way. It was later in the evening and there were only 4 boys there. The owner said it was late and most of the boys had gone. There were two I was impressed with the night before and after a drink and some discussion of what the boy would do we went up to a short time room. (The owner advised me I could take as many boys up as I wanted for the same off fee but alas I wasn't carrying enough cash for two proper tips or else I would have taken one other boy too).

After he took his obligatory shower we had an hour of very pleasant interaction. He was a straight boy and I knew that from the beginning. To "help" him there was a DVD of straight porn playing. He was a nice boy, very attractive to me, did what he agreed to do in advance. I left feeling very satisfied and wishing I would be able to return that trip but knowing I wouldn't be able to.

I have only been home 2 weeks and one thought that is in my mind constantly (when I am pleasuring myself) is the other boy that I did not take upstairs with me and that wonderfully long dick of his that was far longer than any of the other thai boys I saw on either of my trips. It was certainly a different experience than I had had in the go-go's. But I can't wait to get back. I will definitely go earlier and carry enough cash for two just in case!
