The use of “dolled up” by latintopxxx took me down memory lane. I don’t think I’ve heard that expression since childhood or perhaps in an old black and white movie. And I doubt very much that I’ve ever used it. But perhaps it’s time I did –

Ooooh, look at ‘er, all dolled up and dressed to the nines!

It doesn’t sound too camp, does it? No, surely not.
