@ jimnbkk - (a) Get rid of Norton, it is a space and resources hog. There are better security suites around. I use Avast! Premier.
(b) I downloaded and installed Betternet, though it was bit hard to find on their site. I have been trying it on some popular Korean and Japanese sites and the download speed is cut to pieces. Anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to d/l a 30-60 second video. IMO, some lag can usually be expected but the Betternet experience had better pick up over the next day or so else the garbage bin will get some trash.

I do not guarantee that all these links still work. You may also run foul of the "Single Gateway".

Addendum to #7.
I have now had Betternet installed for one week. As anticipated, these is a degree of 'lag' which slows down access to websites. It is no-where near the lag that existed when I first in stalled it.
It has caused a tsunami of emails from Google's security system, asking if I am me. Clearly, VPNs seem to be foreign to their thinking. On the other hand, none of my financial sites have queried my 'new' country of origin.
Overall, Betternet is much better than others I have tried. Give it a go if you need a VPN for privacy.
