While I would prefer gogo bars being open, Pattaya is still worth going. Apps are busy with boys. I know many boys from before Covid and meet them for repeat. I spotted a few boys in Jomtien who are worth a drink and a chat and maybe more, even without seeing them on a stage in underwear (which would be my preferred way).

Jomtien Complex was full on Friday evening with the opening of Dorothy Bar and it being a weekend. I have never seen so many people in the Soi. To those planning to come to Thailand...you are in for a treat.
Spoilt only by the fact that Thailand has caught the British disease (11 pm closing). It rather spoils the atmosphere later on. However there are alternatives! Shhhhh.

I understand that the Duke of York is about to be named Duke of Pattaya and will be taking up residence there. I would be there for his arrival and investiture if the rumour is true. I’m sure his hobbies are shared by many in the Duchy and of course he’s known to be “gay friendly” - he used to knock around with the dancer Wayne Swan when he was at the Royal Ballet although the Royal Protection Officer drew the line at Andrew going off to Heaven nightclub with Wayne and some chums. Perhaps you’ll see Andy at Jomtien Complex from time to time
Wayne these days is definitely a la mode - he has (or had when I last was up to date) a Brazilian boyfriend like Peter Mandelson (although I don’t think Mandy has ever been spotted in Pattaya)
