why I am getting new threads with links going back 12 years

One comment was the change of ownership Ambience July 3 2006, not quite 12 years ago.

It brings last 5 topics. If one of them is 12 years old, well it will bring it anyway - it has no limits by time in setup.

so it is badly designed and badly implemented and is thus spewing out too much useless information - so why did you install it and turn it on?
