MTR security
Is the MTR security which closes all lifts a short term thing or is it here to stay?

Do you mean security in the MRT (Rot Fai Dai Din)?

I guess MTR =MRT = subway. Now with the increased security in BKK, they check all bags when entering the MRT, but it seems there ar not enough security staff to cover the elevators as well as the escalators so the elevators are closed. Unless the security situation changes or the MRT gets more staff, seems the elevators are closed for a while.

I meant of course the rot fai dai din and I suppose the posting would not make much sense to someone who is not living or who has not recently been in Bangkok. Not having lifits makes the the underground that much less accessible.
Yes thanks for the replies.
