Hi folks,

Just joined a few days ago. I've been to Thailand a few times while serving in the US Navy and there are many fond memories of the place.

Anyway, I'm long in a committed relationship, approaching eighteen years and married three years ago. Looking toward retirement from my career position and potentially being an expat to places that make me happy. Thailand is on the short list at the moment, but I may visit there on vacation soon to look around and maybe see if there are any commercial options that fit my skills.

My mechanic is Thai, he's actually there now due to familial drama, and he's telling me that the country has changed dramatically since my days running around over there. When he returns from his long visit we will sit down over beer for a strong briefing. He did say prices are going up. But then, inflation is hitting everyone.

I live in California and, other than my service years, have lived here my whole life. That's all for now.
