1. Raise minimum driving age to 17 years old.
2. Strict enforcement on use of mobile phones by drivers.
3. Stricter measures on drunk driving.

I read somewhere [citation needed] that mobile phone use has surpassed drunk driving and speeding as number one cause of accidents.
Speeding could be controlled very easily, but electronically setting a maximum speed, according to the country's maximum speed.
Drunk driving and mobile phone use more difficult to enforce.
Traffic accidents should be separated in cars and motorbikes. I just read somewhere [citation needed] that in Thailand most traffic victims are motorbike drivers, and of those most didn't wear a helmet.
What a wuss you are. It's quite evident from the chart I posted that the minimum driving age should be 25. As for drunk driving what do you think the impact of legalising marijuana is going to be? And, how do you expect me to post on SGT if I can't do it while I'm driving while stoned?
For once I have to agree with the Village Idiot.
I have always said the minimum age for driving in the UK should be 25 for the following reasons.
1. Less traffic on the road, so the rest of us can get where we want to go
2. It would make the young ones appreciate their permission (not right) to drive.
3. Lower all round Insurance costs.
4. Less vehicles and pollution and more use of PublicTransport.
5. Less death and destruction.
6. An all round better standard of driving.
I also believe that all cars in the UK should be left hand drive for the following reasons:
A) most cars are driven alone and in the event of a head on collision the driver would be on the inside.
B) easier to park as the driver is on the kerb side of the car.
C) safer when getting out of the car (on the kerb side) instead of in the middle of the road.
D) currently cheaper to buy.
Very soon now.
A driverless car will pick you up and glide you effortlessly to the airport. It will be sunny weather. There you will step onto the moving walkway which will go directly to your plane. On the way the scanner will scan your eye and tell the cabin crew you're coming. They will then prepare your favourite beverage and snacks in anticipation of your arrival.
It's the future.

One thing that Francois seems to have overlooked is that he’s trying to prescribe changes for 51 jurisdictions, not one. There is no US driving license, there’s one for each State plus the federal District of Columbia. The US Congress on the other hand can make (limited) laws WRT gun sales for all of the great US of A
