I just calculated my annual spend on cigs, and about $1000/year. Not cheap, but not expensive either.

Think you misunderstand. What I am saying is that you can buy 3 return tickets per year to Thailand for those 1650Euros. Cattle Class. If you go Business then of course you,only just get one ticket.
I assume you travel 3 rd Class.
