travellers cheques

Any one know what the thai banks charge to cash a travellers cheque

A standard fee of 30 baht per cheque, regardless of value, the last time I used one.

no-MOST banks for years and years charge the 33 bt total (Maybe its 30 fee and 3 baht ''stamp'' or so). SOme foreign banks (notably HSBC I thinK )do not really want them and charge 1 or even 200-and will mostly tell you to go elsewhere for better rates. Most private money-exchange do not take them at all-real cash only.
