The recent student-led protests against the Establishment, is a good example. of how things are a changin. They spoke up, they stood up and clearly enunciated their demands. And how did the Establishment respond? Not by addressing the concerns of the protesters or engaging them in the issues but telling them to stand down as to protest would be against "Thai values", the nation, its revered institutions, blah, blah, blah.

Ninety percent of the hooligan protesters are Chinese Thais as they make up a huge majority of the students and teaching staff of elite universities in Thailand. Now that they make the highest number of Thai billionaires the influence they have on the economy and politics is immense. [Deleted text] Can you imagine how much the Chinese blood has been infused into the Thai identity? They have already caused so much troubles during the recent decades from partisan communist ideology, compounded by wanton bribery and thuggery in the business underworld. So the Johnny come lately Chinese immigrants are trying to take Thailand for themselves. Clearly the current pandemic is putting on hold for the Chinese 'invasion' of gentle Siam.
