This is a disturbing topic because these all-too-many deaths, though not close to home, are part of the gay-bar culture that I certainly supported.
Almost all the deaths are premature and many are the result of preventable STDs.
A few guys come to mind such a the happy-go-lucky M who worked in a go-go in Sunnee.
He died 2 years ago from pneumonia in a Thai hospital.
His mother lived in Jomtien and she had to cremate her child before he had reached his 24th. year.
He made a lot of money in his day and lived a short high life but he didn't have any left when he needed specialist care.
