My lover and friend of 6 years in Kyrgyzstan was killed in the lat coup there at his apartment door. Its really so sad and I am just now getting the news. I had thought he was coming to join me here then I never heard from him again. that was about 5 months ago. I am in anguish as this is the 4th lover in their 20's I have lost to car accidents and now to murder. I knew it was not safe there 3 years ago, the reason I got out. I really thought he was going to come but his fame and job kept him there. They hate for anyone there to do well. The old socialism Kyrgyzstan style. My last word from hime was beginning to sound like he would come to be with me.

According to some reports that need confirmation, he was murdered in one of flats along the Karpinskaya Street, where Dautov lived, between 1800 and 1900 [local time] on 31 March. Unidentified assailants inflicted 22 knife wounds on the victim in the area of his chest, belly and in the back.



According to eyewitnesses, the entrance to the house was covered with blood. Dautov possibly tried to chase the murder. Dautov's body was found inside his flat.



[Monitor's report: AKIpress at 0411 gmt on 1 April quoted the Bishkek city police as saying that a criminal case has been launched into showman Mikael's murder case. "A kitchen knife with bloodstains on it has been found near the entrance to the house (where Dautov lived)," AKIpress reported.



Mirlan Dautov was a presenter of a show programe on Kyrgyz national TV which advertised fashionable dresses(Means he was a model for clothes and fashion) Mirlan was also a pop singer]
