    a hotel in early January

Hey hi - I have the opportunity for a quick drop-in to Pattaya for a few days from January 3 to January 8. Any ideas on a hotel? I usually stay in Sunee - stayed at Don Plaza in September - was fine. I know it's high season at prices will reflect that but haven't been able to find something suitable - and safe, etc. Ideas...ideas??

I wonder if you can negotiate lower rates... on the fact that that occupancies may be extremely low due to the blockade (if this affects visitor numbers in January).

They have less customers, they need to charge more to each customer by raising the price, so the business can survive. :bounce:
